About Events at MO Museum

MO Museum is a living space of discovery, which is why we seek to share our knowledge and create a meaningful museum experience everywhere – not just in the exhibition halls. We want to experience a living culture, which is why we hope to see you at MO events!

• MOrathons | MOrathons are weekend-long festivals that mark the openings of main exhibitions. Visitors are welcomed to see the new exhibition, meet the authors of the artworks, analyse the theme of the exhibition together with professionals of various fields and enjoy music, performances or dance.
• Series of events “The Art of Being” | At the beginning of September 2020, MO Museum presented a new series of events to its visitors, called “The Art of Being”. Each month, MO offers a variety of topics, guests, inspiring meetings and meaningful experiences. Next to that, creative workshops take place with well-known Lithuanian artists of the MO Collection. Also, MO invites to the “Date with an Artwork” – a meeting with the professionals from different cultural fields who interpret one artwork from the MO Collection in his or her own way.
• MO Outside | In summer season MO Museum invites the public to spend leisure time in open-air spaces of MO and free of charge events. MO Museum hosts talks about plants, landscaping and ecology together with “Geltonas karutis” in MO sculpture garden, organises poetry readings in summer evenings and sports activities at MO terrace. Also, gatherings of cozy MO picnics take place at MO, where topics, that are new, different and relevant to the resident of a modern city, are explored.
